Organisational Culture Development

Creating and encouraging a genuine organisational culture is one of the most important tasks for any leadership team to address.  Culture can’t simply be imposed from the top down. It’s an organic process that relies on, and comes from, the whole organisation.

Providing clear vision and direction is key – giving people the context for what they are doing and why they are doing it. It is important for leaders to model the behaviours they want from others, we can underestimate the shadow we caste with our behaviour.  Being consistent and authentic, ‘walking the talk’, is vital for building a positive culture. So, too, is holding people to account when they act in a way that is inconsistent with the cultural norms.

Intentional culture development is transformative. It engages the hearts and minds of your people so that they are committed to the direction and values and inspired to do their best work. Using interviews, assessment tools, and engagement activities, I work with organisations to develop self-sustaining, intentional cultures.
